What Carifly does
Carifly follows a vehicle you have bought, through arrival and preparation, to ready for sale, with a clear record of who did what and when.

Stock register and vehicle dossier
Carifly keeps a stock register of vehicles in one list, with a dossier page for each car that holds its checks, jobs, costs and decisions.

Arrival and condition
On arrival, Carifly records the vehicle against what was expected, with dated photos that are compared with the acquisition record.
- Check of the registration (VRM) and chassis number (VIN) against what was expected.
- Record of mileage, keys and key documents on arrival.
- Dated arrival-condition photos compared with the condition recorded at acquisition.
- If there was no baseline, Carifly says so rather than guessing.
Preparation jobs
Preparation is planned as jobs with an owner and a due date, so blockers and missing evidence are easy to see.
- Jobs such as PDI or mechanical check, MOT where applicable, bodywork and paint repair, tyres, valet and photos.
- Each job has an owner, a due date and a place for blockers.
- Completion evidence is kept with the job.
Costs recorded line by line
Costs are recorded as itemised lines against a vehicle. Corrections are kept as history. Nothing is silently overwritten.
- Itemised cost lines in pounds and pence against each vehicle.
- Supplier, reference, date and who entered each line.
- Visible correction history for every change.
Readiness you can defend
The readiness view lists what is done, what is blocked and what evidence is missing before a decision is made.

- Only an authorised person can mark a vehicle ready.
- The decision is recorded with who, when and on what evidence.
Sign-in and dealership security
Each dealership’s data is kept separate from every other dealership’s, enforced in the database. Access is by named user and role.
- Sign-in for named staff only, with roles that limit what each person can do.
- Record of changes kept as append-only history.
- Works in a normal web browser on desktop and on a phone. There is no native phone app.
- Light and dark appearance.
